As a busy Naturopathic Doctor, researcher, author and coach I have heard from countless practitioners that they feel isolated, alone and long for the supportive mind of a group.
Many practitioners have expressed to me that they feel like they can get patients in the door but don’t know what to do to get them better and keep them coming (with friends) after that.
Even more practitioners have said they just don’t know where to start! How do you set up consults? What do you do in them? How can you confidently communicate and whatsmore is where do you start in your research process?!
Finally, one of the biggest concerns I hear is what do you do when the basics don’t work?
My goal is to help with all of these topics, and more!
What is the Naturopathic Clinical Mentorship?
After seeing upwards of 1000 patients and spending years in the medical research I am bringing you my best. The NCM program is a 14 week program that is comprised of two main components. First of all, each week we will focus on advanced management strategies for conditions with an emphasis on helping patients understand their conditions and FEEL a difference rapidly. The second part of each session will include a participant bringing forward a case to get support with. Over the course of the program each participant will get the chance to present at least one case. Additional cases can be applied for.
In addition to group support for the member’s cases I will also be bringing some of my most challenging clinical cases, breaking down exactly how I maneuvered my way through diagnostics and treatment.
Weekly Topics Addressed
- How to do effective patient and condition research.
- Taking a better history (Mnemonics don’t always help!), how to communicate and manage patient visits and follow ups
- Weight loss resistance
- Hashimoto’s and advanced thyroid management
- Thyroid management continued and thyroid hormone replacement
- PCOS- proper diagnosis, testing and management of the different PCOS types
- PCOS continued and adult women’s acne
- Endometriosis diagnosis and management, pelvic conditions
- Interpreting and prescribing hormonal testing
- Preconception education (let’s talk about sex, baby!)
- Supportive care through pregnancy, labour and post partum. The MASSIVELY important role of the ND
- Advanced management of the digestive system
- Complex case review and functional lab analysis
- Clinician boundaries and self care.
Dates
The program will be provided in an online platform with live calls weekly. All calls will be recorded and available to participants after the call.
